James may seem like a pretty quiet when you first meet him but once you get to know him he's hilarious. It's pretty entertaining listening to him interact with his regulars. I have been shopping here for a few years now, James has an Impressive knowledge base that's helpful for collectors and he knows where everything is in the store of what he has, so if you don't see something ask him. Would recommend.

Was visiting Winnipeg. Found your shop on Google. INCREDIBLY you carried a book (Revival #2 hardcover) that was impossible to find online. You even sold it at cover price (THANK YOU). The Abe Books copy was selling for over $600 ?????????????????

The owner may seem a little gruff/intimidating at first, but once you get talking with him you'll find he's really a great guy with a ton of comics knowledge. I've ordered in a bunch of books that were either very expensive or hard to find elsewhere, and not only did he get them all in, but also only charged me the u.s. srp, which if you don't know, is a significant discount. Purchases almost always end up being the same or cheaper than amazon or chapters prices, and you get to support a local shop owner, so other than laziness, there is no reason not to go here for any comics shopping. Keep it up James!

Mighty is great. I have been a customer for many many years. The shop gives you classic comic store vibes. I couldnt imagine anywhere else in winnipeg being my primary go-to shop. I really like this place, I stop by from time to time for magic cards.

They have a great selection of comics, and always have good stock on free comic days. They also have some good board games kicking around.

The owner? Staff member was very helpful but it was hard to navigate as it is pretty crammed with comics. I found 2 for Christmas though so happy about that!

He is always helpful and will recommend different books that he thinks you will enjoy reading. The $$$$ are the best in all of the PEG!!!! They always give you a great deal. And they always have a large selection of graphic novel's at 50% off.

They have an awesome selection and will bring in variant titles for you too, some very hard to find and he charges either cover price or very slightly above to cover costs, like $5.00 max on a $4.00 book. They have tons of back issues to choose from at great prices and all orders out of Previews are at the prices you see in the book, he never charges 2 to 3 times the Previews price like a lot of places do. If he knows you like certain titles he will make sure you get them along with any variants or other cool things that belong with the title but you are not onligated to buy it if you don't want it, it is just the great customer service James provides. I highly recommend this store and you get extra discounts if you have a subscription with him. I love this place!!!! Keep up the great work!!!

I would suggest he's shy and introspective and simply isn't a great conversationalist...that is until you get to know him. I have over the years and he's quite nice and extremely knowledgeable about comics and his industry. The guys a walking encyclopedia. So I think people need to lighten up a bit, yes he's quiet and at first can even seem as though he doesn't care about you. Its not the actual fact-he's just shy. Talk to him about comics, the industry and then watch out because he won't let you leave. As for odors etc-I've never noticed it so cannot comment. small store, priced fair and a nice guy. Worth supporting if you ask me and there are some comic stores in Winnipeg not worth supporting because they're arrogant and stupidly high priced. Great customer service! What my local comic book store should look like.

While it's not the biggest place, the owner always goes above and beyond to help you get your nerd fix. He's ordered in funkos, and help me track down back issues. Never charges for setting up a box like some places. This is my comic book go to place!

Prices here are much better than anywhere else in the city. Great selection of graphic novels and back issues. They also sell runs of 3, 5 or more comics for a discount price which I really like. Anything you don't see on the wall you can order through the guy at the front. James is his name and he is very friendly. Great location too.

This is by and away my favourite place to go for comics. I'm not a big comic book fan, but there were a few that I wanted to get and couldn't find anywhere in the city.

I had him special order them for me (without any deposit) and when they arrived he even took the liberty of putting aside a few other comic from that series, and unfortunately for him had those ones already.

He gladly put them down and back into his stock even though he didn't carry that line before.

The only reason he lost 1star is because he never called me to tell me that my comics had arrived and the only way I knew was because I was in the area and decided to check in.
